Third Tuesdays at IOL: Lady Macbeth
The Third Tuesdays Club is a film-gathering happening once a month to explore the art filmmaking and the different languages that come together in creating powerful and transporting films. Each session will focus on one specific trade in the many departments – camera, sound, editing and more – and the specific contribution they bring to a film production.
Join us for an evening of drinks, nibbles, an intimate conversation with industry professionals and a screening of choice, which will give you a grater appreciation of the magic of cinema.
Each ticket includes snacks, access to the screening and presentation by producer Linda James

Described by Peter Bradshaw (The Guardian) as a “brilliantly chilling subversion of a classic”, this adaptation of the novel Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District by Nikolai Leskov is the dark Victorian story of Katherine, who stifled by her loveless marriage to a bitter man twice her age, embarks on a passionate affair with a young worker on her husband’s estate.
Preceded by a presentation from Producer Linda James
